Fractured

O’ young and foolish was I

to trust the wolf in disguise

Why did you break my heart made of glass

for the shattered pieces had no ways to rejoin

Alas, the broken pieces bled me dry

But with bleeding came the healing

As the sun warms the biting air

Like the first dew

Came an angel to remold the broken heart

To give the solace I badly lacked

Maybe it all fell apart

so that it can fall in place again

There is nothing that love can’t fix

Even if its a fractured mind.

Though you’ll always be a splinter in my soul…
