Food Blog #TB | La Pataterie

Hello my beautiful friends!

This is another throwback food blog 🙂 More food from France ! (YAY!) Located in Vorion , it was quite a drive from grenoble. But the view was phenomenal. I mean in a bustling city you could only see sky scrappers and apartments. This was a real treat for my eyes 😀

Given the ambiance of country setting, this restaurant was very welcoming for the cold autumn weather. It was a quick stopover for lunch before heading out to see the  beautiful mountains surrounding the area.

La Pataterie food

Fish and chips : Approx 10 €

Although this place is known for their potatoes varieties, I didn’t get a chance to try it. Time was short and we went for quick serve platter instead. I opted for a lighter meal of simple fish and chips. One thing about France, they give loads of salad! (my favorite) . Mixed salad was fresh and crunchy! If i recall correctly, this was fried fish cod. simple seasoning which didn’t mask the fish taste. French Fries was normal. However I found the sauce too creamy for my liking :/ perhaps I will try other sauces next time. This was a decent portion for the price and the customer service was excellent. Since I don’t speak French and I have diet restrictions the staff was kind enough to explain the choices.

Overall, a splendid ambiance with home styled cooking experience. Will i go back ? definitely. 😀
